After taking the early 2-0 series lead, the Detroit Red Wings appeared to be in command. But the Pittsburgh Penguins refused to go down without a fight, tieing up the series on their home ice. Now Detroit returns home for Game 5, and this one is tough to call; will the home crowd carry the Red Wings to victory, or will the Penguins carry the momentum of two straight wins into tonight and steal one in Hockeytown?

With the consistant Mike Pelfrey taking the mound for the New York Mets, the Pittsburgh Pirates will have trouble mounting any offense. Four other games round of the card for Wednesday.

Cliff Lee has been pitching like a Cy Young winner this season and should tame the hot bats of the New York Yankees tonight. Oakland and Cincinnati are also nice bets this evening.

The stage has been set for a rematch of last year's Stanley Cup Finals; the Detroit Red Wings vs. the Pittsburgh Penguins. This is the first time since 1984 that the same two teams have met in the finals in back to back seasons. Last year the Red Wings won this series in six games, but the Penguins have come a long way since then, and I expect them to have their names engraved in the Cup this time around.

Both Dan Haren and Derek Lowe have been impressive this season, but look for the Braves to get the last laugh tonight. Randy Wolf leading the Dodgers to an upset over the Cubs rounds off the card.

Throughout his entire career, Roy Oswalt has been money against the Reds, and tonight should be no different. St. Louis topping Milwaukee and a Pittsburgh upset round off today's card.

If history is any indication, it looks as though a rematch of last year's Stanley Cup final is imminent. Teams that take a 2-0 series lead in the NHL go on to win the series over 85% of the time. Then again, Washington came back from 0-2 to beat New York, and then PIttsburgh came back from 0-2 to beat Washington. Is it Carolina's turn to continue the trend? And can the young Blackhawks find a way to stop the veteran Wings?

With Roy Halladay on the mound, the Blue Jays win. It seems to be that simple. Johan Santana and the Mets and the under in Detroit tonight round off today's card.

In a series that has come down to two pitching duels, you have to like one of the best in the game to get the job done. Arizona and the under in St. Louis are also worth playing today.
